How is capital calculated?
The calculator builds a year-by-year projection. Income grows by the rate you set, while expenses rise with inflation. The twelve-month difference between them is added to your capital, and the capital itself earns the investment return. When expenses grow faster than income, they overtake it in some year — that's the turning point on the chart, after which capital grows only from returns.
